FAITH BUILDING – We are all on a journey of faith which begins at our receiving Christ as our personal Savior and should continue until the day we leave this planet. That our faith is nurtured through solid BIBLICAL instruction through anointed preaching, personal devotions, discipleship and mentoring.

PEOPLE FOCUSED – The church is nothing without people. We recognize the value of individuals and the need to build personal relationships through fellowship while connecting and honoring each generation

MISSIONS FOCUSED – Every person deserves a clear presentation of the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ both home and abroad. We will present the message in ways that are relevant to the culture of the day without compromise its meaning.

DOCTRINAL INTEGRITY – The Bible is the foundation of our faith. We commit ourselves to the truths of the Word of God through personal and corporate study and adhere to the truths of the Assemblies of God, choosing to be passionate for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

SELFLESS STEWARDSHIP – God has given gifts, talents and abilities to everyone, as He desires. Our goal is to selflessly use what we are given to demonstrate care for one another and invest in the Kingdom of God

PRAYER AND WORSHIP

WE BELIEVE THAT WE ACTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH GOD THROUGH PRAYER AND WORSHIP

PRAYER IS CONTINUALLY TALKING WITH THE FATHER, EXPRESSING OUR LOVE AND CONFIDENTLY SEEKING HIS GUIDANCE AND PROVISION FOR OURSELVES AND OTHERS

WORSHIP IS GIVING HONOR AND GLORY TO GOD, BECAUSE HE IS WORHTY. WE ALSO EXPRESS OUR WORSHIP THROUGH OBEDIENCE TO THE COMMANDS OF CHRIST IN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES.

Prayer and worship is ACTIVE communion with God

When we pray, we are ENACTING our faith.

TEACH US TO PRAY.

OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HOLLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD AND FORGIVE US OUR SINS AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO SIN AGAINST US. AND LED US NOT INTO TEMPTATION. BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM AND THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER.

WHO we are to pray to.

WHEN we are to pray.

WHAT we are to pray for.

HOW we are to react once we’ve prayed.

In the pray Jesus taught His disciples, we find:

RELATIONSHIP – A Father, a real person, who loves us

POSITION – A God who inhabits the heavens and who is holy – HE IS NOT LIKE US

PURPOSE – He is building a kingdom and has a will – it should be our desire that HIS kingdom comes and HIS

WILL be done – as He has purposed

PROVISION – Daily sustenance – daily bread

PRACTICALITY – Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us

PROTECTION – Deliver us from the evil one
