PASTORS ADAM & MARIANNE

For Adam and Marianne Rogers, ministry has always been about people. Their greatest passion is helping others experience the life-changing love of Jesus and creating a church where everyone feels welcomed, accepted, and encouraged in their faith journey.

Together, they share a heart for worship, discipleship, and building authentic relationships. They believe God has called the local church to be a place of hope, healing, and belonging, a place where people can ask questions, grow spiritually, and discover the gifts and purpose God has placed within them. Their desire is to cultivate a church culture that feels like family, where people are known, cared for, and inspired to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

As parents of four children, Adam and Marianne understand the importance of strong families and meaningful community. Their hope is that OskyFirst is a place where every person; from young children to lifelong believers, can find connection, encouragement, and a place to call home.

Our Beliefs

At OskyFirst, our beliefs are rooted in God's Word, centered on Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. As an Assemblies of God church, we embrace these foundational truths and seek to live them out every day.

The Scriptures Inspired

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and reveals His plan and purpose for humanity. It is our authority for faith and daily living.

The One True God

We believe there is one true God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless in life, and the Savior of the world.

The Fall of Humanity

We believe humanity was created good but fell into sin, creating a need for God's redemption.

The Salvation of Humanity

We believe salvation is available to all through faith in Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection provide forgiveness and new life.

The Ordinances of the Church

We practice two ordinances: water baptism by immersion after salvation and Holy Communion as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.

The Baptism In The Holy Spirit

We believe believers can experience the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering them for Christian living and service.

The Initial Physical Evidence

We believe speaking in other tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is an ongoing process through which believers grow in holiness and become more like Christ.

The Church And Its Mission

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, build believers, and share the gospel with the world.

The Ministry

We believe God calls and equips believers for ministry to build the Church and fulfill Christ's mission.

Divine Healing

We believe divine healing is provided through Christ's atonement and remains available through prayer and faith today.

The Blessed Hope

We believe Jesus Christ will return for His Church, giving believers hope and confidence in His promises.

The Millennial Reign Of Christ

We believe Jesus will return to earth to establish His kingdom and reign in righteousness and peace.

The Final Judgment

We believe all people will stand before God in judgment and that eternal destinies will be determined by their response to Christ.

The New Heavens And The New Earth

We believe God will create a new heaven and a new earth where believers will dwell with Him forever.
